Aerial Arts

Aerial Arts are acrobatic movement art that is performed while suspended from a fabric/ Hoop/ Pole/ Hammock, etc. Aerial dance is a form of theatrical expression rather than pure gymnastics movements. The techniques include climbs, wraps, drops, foot locks, hip-keys, hip-locks, balance poses etc. They can be put together to create varied routines and performances using artistic movement. It is a form of fitness where the entire body is used, emphasising on upper body and core strength. Artists perform forms of contortion and put together routines on various equipment.
